Our story: igniting movement, inspiring futures
Every child should have the happiness and advantages of an active life. Born in response to a critical need and are committed to empowering children in UK primary schools via dance fitness, which promotes not only physical health but also self assurance, collaboration, and a lifetime love of movement. Welcome to our adventure.

Our Mission
At FitKidsMotion our aim is to make exercise accessible, interesting, and a part of children’s daily routines, we want to help kids re establish healthy, active lifestyles. Following the COVID-19 pandemic physical activity levels decreased, which led to a rise in young children’s health concerns. Recent data shows that “around 1 in 10 children starting primary school in England are obese, rising to over 20% by Year 6” (NHS, 2024) Highlighting the urgency of early intervention.
In areas such as Berkshire, local data reflects similar concerns, “with over a third of Year 6 pupils classified as overweight or obese, reinforcing the need for targeted support within communities” (N Hinman, 2025)
Through both online content and in person school bookings, FitKidsMotion aims to provide children with opportunities to move more, build confidence, and develop positive lifelong habits. By bringing structured physical activity directly into local settings, we aim to play a role in addressing and supporting healthier futures for young people.

Behind FitKidsMotion
while building confidence, creativity, and a positive relationship with physical activity. I believe that when children have fun moving, they’re more likely to stay active, engaged, and confident both in and out of the classroom.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, I saw how much children’s physical activity had declined as access to schools, sports clubs, and outdoor play was lost. Many became more sedentary, with increased screen time and reduced fitness, which also impacted their confidence and wellbeing. I was particularly struck by how some children struggled to return to regular activity, especially without strong support at home. This inspired me to make fitness accessible again through fun, engaging dance, helping children rebuild healthy habits and enjoy movement.
My goal is to help children reconnect with movement in a way that feels natural and empowering. Through dance-based fitness, they can build strength, coordination, and body awareness while also developing focus and self-belief. I want children to recognise what their bodies are capable of and take pride in their progress. Ultimately, it’s about supporting them to grow in confidence and carry a positive relationship with physical activity into their everyday lives.
